The Fifth Symposium on vertigo and disorders of balance

Incidence of vertigo and disorders of balance has reached 40% in domestic, which listed at the third place in common symptoms of outpatient service, 81% elders described vertigo symptom when see the doctor, almost 30% elders fell for this.

The fifth national symposium on vertigo and balance disorders was held in Tianjing, the meeting was held by Tianjin First Central Hospital and Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of Chinese Medical Association. The experts, professors and clinical first-line doctors of ENT & HN Surgery Department, neurology, traditional Chinese medical science, orthopedics from America, British, Sweden and Taiwan presented this meeting, they exchanged  relative study result and clinical application of vertigo and disorders of balance, vestibular balance system pathophysiology, vestibular balance function assessment technique at home and abroad, which aims to promote progress of china’s diagnosis and rehabilitation techniques of vertigo and balance disorders.
